Teamwork, staff development and communication are the key to our success. Our open team management is supported by a core group of key personnel, consisting of chefs, hospitality professionals and sales and marketing management

George, Theodore and Harry , the three Brothers as kids were brought up on a farm in Greece where their passion for the Fruit and Vegetable Industry developed, then emigrating to Australia,  they opened up their first Retail Fruit and Vegetable Shop in Petersham in 1977, as the Business developed and grew, making a big impact within the Industry, the Brothers established themselves as Providores and decided to open up their current Wholesale Fruit and Vegetable Warehouse; which can be found in Meeks Road, Marrickville.

Theodore is responsible for the buying of the Fruit and Vegetable Produce at the Markets on a daily basis; George and Harry are responsible for the Processed Fruit and Vegetable Production of the Business… If one wishes to speak with the boys, they can be contacted on 9519 9883 at any time.

Our Inception 

Olympic Providores commenced its operations in 1977, quickly establishing a reputation for excellence in the fresh produce market. Its aim was to supply fresh fruit and vegetables to the food service and hospitality industry in Sydney.

Over the years, our client base has broadened servicing restaurants, hotels, hospitals, nursing homes, clubs, cafes, juice bars through to large hotel groups.  As our client base has grown so to have our services and products

At Olympic Providores we continue to introduce new service offerings to help make life easier for our customers. We have a night crew operation to ensure early delivery of goods and also to manage the quality assurance of the produce.

At Olympic Providores we have the highest reputation for quality, maintained through intensive supplier selection procedures and wholesale use of specification criteria, matched with rigorous internal quality control procedures.  All goods bought at market are inspected by our buying team prior to their selection. We use a collection of audited suppliers for each product, to allow us to choose the highest quality goods available on a daily basis.
